The ultimate goal of ICC CIC’s initiatives is to keep more of Nova Scotians’ investments within the province.

Less than 2% of Nova Scotians’ investments stay here locally.  This number hasn’t changed in decades.  Nearly a billion dollars leaves the province each year to benefit other jurisdictions.

If even 3% of Nova Scotians’ investments in RRSPs can be acquired by Backr and deployed annually, it would represent $28 million in local community capital investment, the effects of which would be compounded through the economy as Nova Scotia becomes more self-sufficient and enhances its export capacity.
